S/V "Dogs For Sail" is a Hiltonhead based 1993 Endeavour 30 Catamaran SOLD!!

This Boat Owner requires financial settlement only ... trades will not be considered!!

Great opportunity to score one of the most spacious and comfortable cruising catamarans ever built under $100 K. The Endeavour 30 is much larger than compact catamarans like the Catalacs, Geminis, Prouts, Iroquois and Heavenly Twins. What’s more, she’s an excellent, highly responsive vessel. Propelled by her mighty main sail she can comfortably reach 7.5 knots with only a 5 degree heel. On a beam or broad reach you leave any 30' monohull in her wake, and in light winds you don't even have to try hard.

This boat sails nicely, handles great and is a blast to cruise liveaboard or take trips on. Spacious Salon, Massive Galley, Huge Head with separate two person shower with a built in seat. Twin Queen berths with full hanging cedar lined closet and plentiful storage space.

She turns on a dime, tacks and jibes effortlessly. All lines lead aft to the cockpit for easy sail control. As all catamarans, the Endeavour is safer than a monohull which is reflected in US Coast Guard statistics: more stable, more moving room on deck, less heel, very steady when waves hit sideways, and almost unsinkable because of the lack of a ballast and the two hulls.

The engine is more than sufficient to propel her at 5.5 knots cruising speed, 6.5 knots at full throttle. The outboard engine is perfect for this boat for maneuverability during docking. The engine moves with the rudders, and the engine hydraulically tilts completely out of the water, so there is no propeller dragging in the water during your sail.

This catamaran has 6.4' standing room in the hulls, a comfortable settee that can entertain 6 comfortably (or sleep an additional two people), two queen size berths aft. Few 30’ boats can offer such a huge galley with much counter space to cook gourmet meals, with refrig/ freezer, double stainless sink, two burner propane stove/oven. She features a large a bathroom and separate shower stall bigger than on larger catamarans, a huge cockpit which easily seats 9 adults, a large deck space forward, and storage everywhere. Smart Plug for the 30 amp shore power, 12,000 BTU Mermaid Marine heat and AC, tank-less propane water heater, showers on the bow and stern, 10 opening ports with screens, 2 hatches with screens, fans in the head, berths and galley, autopilot, chart plotter, wind direction, depth, compass, heavy duty dinghy davits which also holds the solar panels and wind generator, 40 horsepower Honda mounted on an adjustable hydraulic platform. And more!! ... Full electronics Autopilot, Chart plotter, Anchor lift 1000 watt windlass, 8' Walker Bay dinghy, 200 watts solar, Ampair 100 watt wind generator 3 AGM batteries in house bank, 1 AGM starting battery

High-quality sturdy construction throughout. This is a solid well-made Endeavour product built to last with this type of construction... whole deck and structural bulkheads manufactured of biaxial fiberglass, no wood used in the hull construction. She is fully equipped and perfect as a liveaboard, and for gunkholing in the Intracoastal waterways, the Chesapeake Bay, or the Bahamas.

Sail her with the trade winds safely around the world if you like (the same model previously sailed across the Pacific from the US, Polynesia to Australia). With her 2ft 10 inch draft you can go into the tightest anchorages closest to shore which reduces chop and gives you great nights of sleep.
