S/V "Sea Muffin" is a Florida based 1992 Endeavour 30 Catamaran for sale by owner
This Boat Owner requires financial settlement only ... trades will not be considered!!
Entry from the large cockpit is thru a large retractable coach roof and double entry doors. The main salon features a wrap around settee and two captains’ chairs. The galley is down to port and is clean and efficient with ample storage, a two burner stove/oven, double stainless steel sinks, a microwave and a top loading refrigerator. The port stateroom features a queen sized berth, hanging closet and storage drawers. The electric panel is conveniently located and accessible. Moving into the starboard hull, the starboard stateroom also features a queen sized berth with a hanging closet and drawer storage. The spacious head area includes a large walk-in shower that also has a bench.
She turns on a dime, tacks and jibes effortlessly. All lines lead aft to the cockpit for easy sail control. As all catamarans, the Endeavour is safer than a monohull which is reflected in US Coast Guard statistics: more stable, more moving room on deck, less heel, very steady when waves hit sideways, and almost unsinkable because of the lack of a ballast and the two hulls.
The engine is more than sufficient to propel her at 5.5 knots cruising speed, 6.5 knots at full throttle. The outboard engine is perfect for this boat for maneuverability during docking. The engine moves with the rudders, and the engine hydraulically tilts completely out of the water, so there is no propeller dragging in the water during your sail.
Few 30’ boats can offer such a huge galley with much counter space to cook gourmet meals, with refrig/ freezer, double stainless sink, two burner propane stove/oven. She features a large a bathroom and separate shower stall bigger than on larger catamarans, a huge cockpit which easily seats 9 adults, a large deck space forward, and storage everywhere.
Motor turns with twin rudders. Incredibly efficient. Sea Muffin shows little wear, bright clean and warm teak everywhere. 6'4" headroom in hull. sits and sleeps 6. Two queen size staterooms, huge galley head with separate stall shower, 7ft cockpit, ample deck space, 4 large bow storage lockers. Recent upgrades, ready to go.
High-quality sturdy construction throughout. This is a solid well-made Endeavour product built to last with this type of construction... whole deck and structural bulkheads, Hull and deck are manufactured of biaxial fiberglass with isophathalic, vinylester resins, and NidaCore (polypropylene honeycomb) core, which was vacuum bagged for stiffness, strength, and light weight. Full interior fiberglass grid for strength and rigidity. Full fiberglass headliner. , no wood used in the hull construction. She is fully equipped and perfect as a liveaboard, and for gunkholing in the Intracoastal waterways, the Chesapeake Bay, or the Bahamas.
Sail her with the trade winds safely around the world if you like (the same model previously sailed across the Pacific from the US, Polynesia to Australia). With her 2ft 10 inch draft you can go into the tightest anchorages closest to shore which reduces chop and gives you great nights of sleep.
