SV Altona II is a Bahamas based 1994 Lagoon 42 TPI for sale by owner

S/V Altona II is a 1994 42 ft Lagoon TPI, one of only 54 made by Jeanneau and Tillotson Pearson to yacht grade specifications. Solid construction and high bridge deck clearance make this catamaran appealing to any sailor. The boat draft is 4’5" making her a great sailing vessel, as well as having the capability of cruising through shallow waters.

The only Lagoon built in the U.S., TPIs differ strikingly from the modern Lagoon 420s. Built for a balance of strength, speed, and seakeeping ability, the TPI 42 is a solidly build ocean-going cruiser with sleek lines and good bridgedeck clearance. TPIs sail beautifully, are equally comfortable at anchor, and have such generous storage that your only challenge will be not packing in more gear than necessary. Altona II is not a hurricane damaged boat: she is a well-maintained fully equipped vessel to fall in love with for short term cruising or to sail around the world.

She features a large galley plus Pantry cabin in Port Hull with deep double SS sinks complete with hot and cold pressure fresh water pump Electric seawater pump, manual backup fresh water foot pump Isotherm Fridge (2011) 12V, 20.5” x 18.5” x 18.5”, extra insulation Isotherm Freezer (2011) 12 v, 16.5” x 18.5” x 18.5”, extra insulation Large Eno two burner propane stove with oven (2013) Electrical Solenoid shut-off valve Engel MT45 dual voltage (120V, 12V or 24V) portable fridge/freezer Microwave oven Generous cupboard space & spice racks Laminate countertops (2011) Fan Pass through shelf for dishes to salon Overhead hatch with Day/Night solar fan Side port opening.

This a 3 cabin, 2 head layout. Her 2 aft cabins are mirror images, each with overhead hatch and side port opening, 3 closets (2 with shelving), additional storage shelves over foot of berths, LED overhead light and reading lights, fans and Queen size berths. 1 with 7” latex mattresses (2013), 1 with original mattresses with 3” latex topper (2013). The Starboard forward cabin has a double berth, overhead hatch, side port opening, LED reading light, fan, 2 drawers under berth, additional under berth storage. We converted the Port forward berth to galley storage with shelving, fold down counter, swing out shelving, closet, large pantry, 2 drawers and under berth storage. All cabin hatches have screens, and 4 berths have slide-over privacy shades. Doors and all port openings have screens.
