S/V 'Driftin Days' is a Grenada based St. Francis 44 catamaran for sale by owner. She was designed by Angelo Levanos and custom built in 2004, then sailed from South Africa to Georgetown Bahamas by the first owners. While there, she spent four years serving as a floating condo for the owners.
The second owners purchased her in 2008 with 500 hours on the engines, which had been mostly for battery charging and heating water. In March 2008 they sailed her through the Bahamas to Riviera Beach Florida for new Ray Marine Nav Equip., water maker, batteries, custom rub rail, etc. In 2010 another major upgrade was performed adding reverse cycle A/C, TV/DVD, 5.0 K isolation transformer, custom fiberglass hardtop, wrap around privacy shades, new wind generator, upgrade to 50 Amp Shore Power, etc. They then sailed her to Turkey and the Med. for two years before returning to Fort Lauderdale Florida upon completion of their dream cruise, and placing her for sale.
The third and current owners purchased her in 2013 with approximately 1,400 hours on the engines and are in their fifth year cruising the Bahamas and Eastern Caribbean during the "winter months", basically Jan. thru March of each year and having her stored "on the hard" for the other nine months.
This St Francis is designed, built, and equipped to take you anywhere, safely and comfortably. Proven capability, fast and fun to sail, and can be handled easily by two people. There is also an extensive inventory of spare parts aboard.
